what is a glo airbrush tan?
It is the most realistic looking sunless tan. The results are an even, natural, flawless, healthy, tan which lasts about 7 to 10 days. Our system eliminates streaks, orange hands and feet, blotchy patches and dirty looking knees and elbows.
is it safe?
Yes. The main ingredient in our sunless tanning products is known as dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is a simple non-toxic sugar. It is often derived from plant sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane. DHA is FDA approved.
how does a glo airbrush tan work?
A trained professional will spray the customized solution onto your body. The amino acids on your skin's surface will respond naturally to the DHA in the tanning formula to produce the most beautiful sunless tan you have ever seen. You will see immediate results from the bronzer in the solution and your tan will continue to develop over the next 8 to 12 hours.
will it turn me orange?
No, definitely not. If you have ever experienced an orange color from other sunless tans it was because too dark of a solution was applied for your skin tone. We have several different shades that we customize according to your skin type and personal preference. You will never experience an orange color with glo.
how long will my glo airbrush tan last?
Your tan should last about 7 to10 days. Factors such as skin type, physical activitiy, and maintenance can cause your results to vary. To maximize the length of your tan it is important to moisturize daily (ecspeically after showering) and be sure not to excessively exfoliate.
how long does a glo session take?
A full body airbrush tan takes about 20 minutes.
what should I wear during my airbrush tan?
What you wear during your appointnment is completely up to you and what you are comfortable with. For example, some women tan completely nude and others wear just undergarments. We do require men to wear at least underwear. After your airbrush tan, it is best to put on dark, loose fitting, cotton clothing to allow your tan to completely develop. If possible, do not wear a bra/sports bra after your airbrush tan.
if I do an in home session, will it get on my furniture?
No. We have an over-spray tent that ensures that the solution will not get anywhere in your home.
will the solution rub off on my sheets or clothing?
You may see some color on your sheets and clothing in the morning after your airbrush tan. The solution will completely come out of any cotton material in the wash. This is why we recommend wearing dark, loose fitting, cotton clothing after your appointment.
can I get a glo airbrush tan if I am pregnant?
There are no known side effects from the application of our solution. As a precaution, if you are pregnant you should always consult with your physician or other qualified health care provider before receiving an airbrush tan.
